Window Stickers

Window stickers are used the same way as decals only that stickers are usually used for the purpose of communicating a message rather than adding window designs or aesthetic values.  Stickers are more common to business establishments that sell a product or service.

Using window stickers is not just a matter of sticking them to the windows.  To get a message across an intended crowd or market, they have to be placed on strategic levels and should contain informative yet eye-catching content.

Advantages of Using Stickers

When stickers are used for branding or any other marketing purposes, it can offer several advantages compared to using posters.  Placing stickers in windows do not need the use of mounts or supports.  They are self supporting due to the adhesive they have on them and are therefore much easier to install than flyers or posters.  This same adhesive can act as a sealant or design protection so stickers can last longer as well.

Stickers can also be flexible in a way that they can contain the same images, designs and colors that a poster may have.  Stickers can be customized to print a design, set of texts or company logo.  With an impressive design, window stickers can incidentally add aesthetic value to a window.  Fashionable window treatments therefore may not be needed anymore and an organization or individual can save on costs.

Creating a Work of Art

Designing stickers amounts to creating a work of art and involves technical skills to it.  Designs are usually processed and made on computers and printed on special papers which are later on brushed with adhesives.  Often times, organizations would just rely on printing companies with qualified artists for their custom-made window stickers.

The factors considered in making stickers however, are not just limited to design; size also matters.  Stickers need to be in the right sizes primarily to fit the glass length and width of a window.  Size also determines whether the sticker will be readable and influence an action or retain awareness.  Generally, the bigger the texts or design is the greater is its chances of being noticed.

Window stickers are great for promotions, branding and getting a message across to regular customers or to a target market.  They can be as flexible as posters and contain images, texts or company logos.  Sticker designs, can incidentally also add aesthetic value to a window or the front of a building structure thereby reducing the need for other window treatments.
